You'd never taste anything tastier than Saliva, this modern alternative rock band born in 1996 with metal-style lead singer Josey Scott, guitarists Chris Dabaldo, Wayne Swinny, bass guitarist Dave Novotny, and drummer Paul Crosby hailing from Memphis, Tennessee. It didn't take this band long to turn heads, and they turned one important head in their music career: Island Records. They signed a contract for a major debut in 2001.

After their first album, Saliva immediately went to work on their sophomore effort while Josey Scott collaborated with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger on the single 'Hero' for the Spider-Man soundtrack. Needless to say, instant success was the name of the game as Back into Your System debuted. However, it was the explosive triumph of the album Survival of the Sickest that brought them fame with the hit single 'Rest in Pieces' taking the rock charts by storm.
