Saw Doctors Tickets - Ireland Knows How to Rock?
But of course they do, mate! Wait a second.... That's Australia, not Ireland. Well, it doesn't matter -- either way, we're talking about the Saw Doctors, formed in 1986 in Tuam, County Galway, by the likes of vocalist and guitarist Leo Moran, vocalist and guitarist Davy Carton, and vocalist Mary O'Connor. Over the years, this remarkable band added more to the lineup -- such as keyboard player Kevin Duffy, bass guitar player and saxphone player Anthony Thistlethwaite, and drummer Eimhin Craddock.

Needless to say, this band had something going in a big way. Upon the start of the band, who knew they would be in for a remarkable 18 singles in Ireland that would reach the Top 30? Not too shabby. Of those 18 singles, three made it to number one. Amazingly, the one single that actually holds the record for the country's all-time biggest seller, is one of the Saw Doctors' number-one singles by the title of 'I Useta Lover.' Other iconic singles to make the statement that the Saw Doctors are exemplary were the very first single 'N17,' 'Green & Red Of Mayo,' and 'Exhilarating Sadness.' The band's debut album called If This Is Rock and Roll, I Want My Old Job Back was released ion 1991 to mark the start of a career that would be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 at the Meteor Ireland Music Awards.
