Located in Daytona Beach, Florida, Daytona International Speedway is a prestigious NASCAR race track and home of the Daytona 500. The track has number of layouts that allow it to host Motocross, ARCA, AMA, Superbike and Grand-Am events in addition to traditional NASCAR races. NASCAR founder, William France Sr., built the course in 1958 at a cost of $3 million to replace the old Daytona Beach Road Course. The design used allowed cars to race at a much faster speed while allowing fans better vantage points, as well. Daytona International Speedway has been renovated a couple of times with most recent in 2010 when the track was completely repaved. The infield also received a makeover in 2004 and is now known as the Sprint Fanzone, encompassing a number of decks that allow fans to see inside garages and other behind the scenes aspects. The massive grandstands seat 167,785 fans and include a number of unique amenities unfamiliar in the racing world. The seating area at Daytona Motor Speedway is named 'Earnhardt Grandstand' in honor of legendary driver Dale Earnhardt, who dead following a fatal crash at the venue. Another addition to the stadium was the Budweiser Party Porch, which is located on the backstretch of the track. The porch features a number of tables, games and activities that differ from normal basic track seating. Outside the Daytona 500, Dayton International Speedway is home to the Coke Zero 400, Daytona Shootout, and Budweiser Duel as far as Sprint Cup races go.
