A schism is a division between people, usually belonging to an organization or movement. Skism, on the other hand, has united lovers of Dubstep since coming onto the music scene in 2009. Since then, he's established himself a major player amongst both his peers and a growing fanbase.

Born Tommy Dash, but known in industry circles as the 'Dj's Dj,' SKisM has worked with some of the biggest names in music. His videos alone have racked up more than 6 million views on Youtube. He has maintained an ever-evolving presence online, establishing his name in social media circles and promoting his work through Never Say Die Records. As co-owner of the label, he's also been involved in hand-selecting acts like Zomboy, 501 and Eptic.

Even with his hands in so many aspects of the business, SKisM is most-known for his technical prowess. He uses a multi-deck setup and has gained a reputation as one of the most electrifying mixers on the circuit. He has toured Australia, Europe, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States and is back on the road for 2013. In February alone he has zipped from Germany to France and then to Romania, with just four days in between a return to the U.S. He'll play two quick dates in California (on the 27th in San Francisco and the following day in San Diego) before heading back overseas.

SKisM's catalog of material continues to grow as fast as his popularity. His collaboration with Canada's Excision ('sEXisM') was one of the top telling tracks on his Mau5trap album and was featured in the wide release trailer for the movie "Act of Valor." SKisM also found a chart-topper on "Jump Back," a collaboration with Flux Pavilion & Foreign Beggars. He remains focused on his own music, as well as the long-term development of other EDM artists.
