Her album did go gold and prompted her to release her second album by the name of Just the Same in 1996 led by the hit single 'Poor Poor Pitiful Me.' A third album How I Feel then came in 1998. She became so well established in the music industry that she ended up leaving Mercury Records to start her own label through Capitol Records, entitled Bare Tracks. From then, she just kept making music the way she wanted to.
