About Testament Tickets

Testament has been setting the standard for thrash metal since emerging from the Bay Area in 1983, and more than four decades later, they're still breaking necks with zero signs of slowing down. Anchored by the powerhouse tandem of vocalist Chuck Billy and guitarist Eric Peterson, the band has built a 14-album catalog that includes Hall of Fame inductees like The Legacy and The New Order alongside modern scorchers that prove the best bands only get sharper with time. Their latest release, Para Bellum, dropped in October 2025 and was named the best metal album of the year by Loudwire — a blistering blend of thrash, death metal, and black metal that makes it clear this band still has something to prove.

A Testament show is a full-contact experience built on furious riffs, aggressive harmonies, and a setlist that spans their entire storied career — from early classics like "Over the Wall" and "Into the Pit" to modern anthems like "Brotherhood of the Snake." Despite being decades deep into their run, Billy and the band still bring explosive energy to every stage, running, jumping, and headbanging like it's 1987. The crowd is just as electric, with longtime fans and younger converts sharing the pit, moshing side by side in the kind of multigenerational chaos that only a legacy act this vital can create.

Fresh off the Thrash of the Titans U.S. tour with Overkill and Destruction this spring, Testament is already gearing up for a European Summer Festival run kicking off June 29 in Antwerp with Death Angel, Metal Church, Armored Saint, and Hellripper joining on select dates. New drummer Chris Dovas has injected fresh precision and bombast into the lineup, and the band has already started writing material for a potential follow-up to Para Bellum. If you've never experienced Testament live, now is the time — and if you have, you already know there's nothing else like it.

How long has Testament been performing as a band?

Testament formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1983, making them one of the longest-running acts in thrash metal with over four decades of history. The band rose to prominence in the late 1980s alongside fellow Bay Area thrash legends and has maintained a consistently active touring and recording career ever since. Their longevity and continued touring in 2026 is a testament to their enduring influence on heavy metal.
