A Look at Black Lips tickets

There's no telling what you might experience with Black Lips tickets. Starting out in 1999 in Dunwoody, Georgia, when they were still teenagers, Black Lips didn't take long to establish their reputation as one of punk rock's wildest bands, performing unhinged theatrics on stage with literally flaming guitars, fireworks, nudity, vomiting, you name it. Though the members say they have settled down somewhat since then, their lives shows continue to be known for their let-it-all-hang-out, party atmosphere. Of course, there's music, too, and the Black Lips' style is simple, pared down punk-party. Cole Alexander's lead vocals are up front and in your face, delivering lyrics laced with sex, drugs and irreverence. These days, Ian St. Pe has taken over duties as lead guitarist, following a tragic, freak car accident that took the life of band co-founder Ben Eberbaugh. Original members Jared Swilley on bass, and Joe Bradley on drums fill out the quartet. Since their debut album Black Lips! in 2003, the band has maintained a consistent sound and style, weaving elements of blues, doo-wop and country into their rough backdrop of punk. It's all appreciate by their fans, and the Black Lips has continued to build their base with a succession of albums, Good Bad Not Evil (2007), 200 Million Thousand2009 and their latest, Arabia Mountain (2011). The singles 'Go Out and Get It' and 'Bicentennial Man' exemplify the Black Lips sound: loose, easy and unapologetic. The Black Lips may be one of the wildest bands you'll see, but they might also be having the most fun.
