Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Tickets - Band History
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus began in 2003 in Middleburg, Florida. Their career began to take off in 2004, when they built considerable local buzz by releasing their first full-length album. Later that year, they inked to Virgin Records and in 2006, they released their major label debut Don't You Fake It - a smash hit. The album featured four singles, the most successful of which was Face Down, a song about domestic abuse that peaked at number 3 on U.S. Alternative charts. The album itself peaked at number 25 on U.S. charts, and went on to be certified Gold. In 2009, the band released Lonely Road, which peaked at number 14 on U.S. charts, but by then, the band had lost some steam. While they continued to tour with comparatively big acts, they had not been given anywhere near the attention they received with the release of Don't You Fake It. However, in 2010, the band parted ways with Virgin Records, and in 2011, are looking to regain momentum with new full-length Am I the Enemy<.i>.

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus play a brand of pop-punk that contains strong radio rock influences. On Don't You Fake It, they incorporated emo influences, as many of the songs featured screaming. However, Lonely Road saw the band lose much of that edge and found them heading towards a more grunge rock direction, a la Hinder. Lyrically, the band is primarily concerned with personal experiences in relationships and life. Whatever it is, however, the one thing the band never lacks is passion.
