Here's a young Christian man, born Kevin Michael McKeehan, with an eye for God and a passion for music. Growing up in the Washington D.C. area, it made sense that he originally started his music debut with two other Christian hopefuls, Michael Tait and Kevin Max Smith, to form the Christian rap group DC Talk back in 1987. By 2001, the group split with TobyMac hitting major success.

He hit that scene hard with the smash debut Momentum, singles like 'Extreme Days' and 'Get This Party Started' basically making a huge dent into secular music and injecting a ton of Christian faith and glory into the industry. Instantly, heads were turning everywhere. Moreover, TobyMac didn't stop there, following up with albums Welcome to Diverse City, Portable Sounds, Alive and Transported, and the latest innovative record birthed from his creative mind Tonight. Between all three succeeding albums, you can find many of his singles all over pop culture.
