Trash Talk has talent (Created May 1, 2013)

The saying goes that you shouldn't talk trash unless you can back it up, but these hardcore revivalists known as Trash Talk certainly can. The group -- comprised of vocalist Lee Spielman, guitarist Garrett Stevenson, bassist Spencer Pollard and drummer Sam Bosson – have been playing together since 2005, hitting every map dot from Sacramento, California to Tokyo, Japan.

The early beginnings of Trash Talk came via Sell Our Soul Records. But it was later in 2005 that they inked a deal with Rumble Records to record and release their debut album "Walking Disease." Another label (Malfunction Records) would be home to a later EP, "Plagues," but eventually the group decided to manage its own label, Trash Talk Collective.

It was 2009 when the group, following the release of the single "East of Eden," began to keep a regular tour schedule and had built a rabid fan base that allowed them to tour overseas. Their next album, "Eyes & Nines," had a huge promotional push in Europe, and the band rode that success into 2011 by performing at the Soundwave Festival and at Download, a three-day rock festival in Donington Park.

Trash Talk's latest works were a five-song EP, "Awake," in 2011, followed by the album "119" released on Odd Future Records on October 9, 2012.
