“Springsteen on Broadway” is a huge departure from the massive, 4-hour shows that Springsteen is known for. The intimate venue holds 939 seats, which is by far the smallest venue that Bruce Springsteen has played in the last 40 years. But it isn’t just the size of the venue that’s a departure from the norm, it’s the concert itself, and the way it’s structured.
In fact, Springsteen shared that he chose Broadway for this project because it seemed like the perfect venue for what he had in mind. Without a full band for backup, and the other hallmarks of his exciting stage shows, what fans get with “Springsteen on Broadway” is simple, intimate, and exceptional. It’s just Bruce Springsteen, the guitar, the piano, and his words. Some is spoken, some is sung, but all of it is profound look in to the life of an entertainment giant beloved by his fans. “Springsteen on Broadway” is a unique opportunity to get to know Bruce Springsteen in a way that fans have never experienced before.
