Originally known as “Fan Fair” when it began in 1972, the CMA Music Festival is one of the only times when all of country’s A-List stars gather together to perform under one roof. Held annually in Nashville, TN, the four-day fest takes place at three venues in the downtown area of the southern city. Look for merchandise booths and air conditioning at the Music City Center, while the Riverfront Park stage features music from both young and old country stars. Once the sun goes down, Nissan Stadium comes alive as the top artists of today take the stage. Travel packages are available for the event, with a variety of hotel accommodations and tickets that include transportation between each venue and early admission to the shows. This year’s CMA fest falls from June 8-11, with past performers including Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood and Garth Brooks.
