Dan + Shay Tickets

Dan + Shay is a country music duo comprised of singer-songwriters Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney. In addition to releasing their own albums and singles, Dan + Shay have also collaborated with several popular musical acts including Kelly Clarkson, Lindsay Sterling, and Rascal Flatts. Dan + Shay’s 2018 singles “Tequila” and “Speechless” both reached number 1 on the US Country Chart and the US Country Airplay Chart.

While their original songs have had quite a bit of success, the singles Dan + Shay have recorded with other artists have also received praise. Their 2018 single “Keeping Score” with Kelly Clarkson made the top 50 US Country Chart, and their single “Say” with ReaLynn was featured on her album, WildHorse. Dan + Shay provided vocals for Lindsay Sterling on the single, “Those Days” from her hit album, Brave Enough, which was the violinist’s most anticipated album release. Dan + Shay’s song “When I Pray for You” was the opening song on the soundtrack for the Christian drama film, The Shack, which was released in 2017. “When I Pray for You” reached made the top 50 on the US Hot Country Songs (Billboard) and peaked at number 3 on the US Christian Songs Chart, both in 2017. The song also reached number one on both the Christian and Gospel Digital Song Sales chart in February of that same year. It was the first time that Dan + Shay had appeared on either chart.

Since they first hit the music scene in 2012, Dan + Shay have received praise from fans and critics alike. Dan + Shay have been nominated for over a dozen awards since 2014, winning 3 by the beginning of 2019. Their song “19 You + Me” won the 2015 ASCAP Country Music Award for Most Performed Songs. In 2018, Dan + Shay won the CMT Music Awards Duo Video of the Year for “Tequila”, and in 2019, Dan + Shay won the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo.
