NCAA Tournament 2016: West Regional
This year's NCAA Tournament West Regional will be played at the Honda Center in Anaheim on March 24 and March 26. Despite some surprising upsets in the early rounds, including No. 12 Yale over No. 5 Baylor and No. 11 Northern Iowa over No. 6 Texas, this section of the bracket is all chalk as the top four seeds have advanced. No. 1 Oregon secured a Sweet 16 bid after a close call against No. 8 St. Joseph's, and the Ducks will will take on No. 4 Duke, last year's March Madness champions. The other matchup features No. 3 Texas A&M, which pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in college basketball history, fighting back from a 12-point deficit against Northern Iowa with 44 seconds left in regulation to earn a trip to Anaheim. The Aggies will take on the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners and star Senior Buddy Hield, who is quite possibly the best remaining player in the NCAA Tournament. Right now tickets to the West Regional are the second most expensive, topping the games that will be played in Louisville (South Regional), and Chicago (Midwest Regional), but trailing the prices of the games in Philadelphia (East Regional).
