Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Newark
Fans may have a particular image in mind when thinking of an orchestra: calm, collected, and playing classical music. Trans-Siberian Orchestra is not your typical orchestra. Describing themselves as a progressive rock band, TSO shows are full of lights, lasers, fire, and an over-the-top, one-of-a-kind show that is one of the greatest live music experiences imaginable.
Founded in the 1990s by producer and composer Paul O’Neill, the core of the group also includes Jon Oliva, Al Pitrelli, and keyboardist and co-producer Robert Kinkel. The group performs famous holiday-season shows year after year, and is one of the greatest ways to get in the mood for Christmas. Some of their most well-known songs include Christmas Canon, Christmas Eve/Sarajevo, and Wizards in Winter.
TSO’s tours are always some of the hottest events of the winter season. This year, Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be in Newark for two shows on December 26, one at 3:00pm and one at 8pm. The shows are at the world-class Prudential Center. Fans can take explore seating options with our Prudential Center seating chart. Though the group will play shows in Albany and Buffalo, NY, the Newark shows are TSO's only stops in the Tri-State area this season.
