James Taylor Concert Setlist
After almost 50 years of making music, James Taylor has quite a selection of hits to play at his concerts. He tends to stick with his most popular songs, adding some amazing covers to the mix. James Taylor often includes his acoustic cover of The Drifters’ “Up on the Roof”. He slows the song way down, and the effect is genius. Another popular cover song, “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)”, makes the list, as does Taylor’s hit “Something in the Way She Moves”. Many of James Taylor’s songs are instantly recognizable, but “Fire and Rain” is one that fans enjoy singing back to the music legend. His 1971 number one Billboard hit and Grammy Award-winning song, “You’ve Got a Friend”, makes the list time and time again, and the always fun and groovy, “Mexico”, never fails to lighten spirits.
