Commercial Director, Benelux
We are looking for a Commercial Director to work closely with our UK Sport Managing Director in continuing to maintain existing client relationships and contracts and win new business in the desired leagues and prospect lists. The Commercial Director’s role is to oversee the teams including Account Managers, Product Specialists, and Support Analysts. You’ll actively work alongside the Managing Director in forming and executing a strategic plan to win new business and secure long term contracts across our key prospects. You will be directly involved in all revenue generating activity across the client base and will be encouraged to review opportunities where we can build out our offering where possible.

Being able to create and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues alike will be essential to the successful applicant in this role and it would be beneficial for the successful candidate to have a strong track record in the Benelux Sports market. This role will suit an experienced, ambitious professional looking to grasp the challenge of joining a growing business with excellent year on year growth and helping reach new heights and drive even better growth numbers. The SeatGeek Enterprise, Benelux office is located in Amsterdam. The successful candidate should be based full time from this office. Extensive travel across the client and prospect base and or to the UK Sport head office in Newcastle would be expected as part of fulfilling this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsibility to drive New Business wins within the Benelux target market
  • Manage the Account Management function
  • Oversee 3rd Party partnerships and Commercial agreements regarding SeatGeek activities
  • Communicate the regular progress of projects, opportunities and initiatives to stakeholders
  • Deal with client contracts and work closely with SeatGeek lawyers to conclude legal agreements
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Able to negotiate and close agreements
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare and present Sales performance within Salesforce and other reporting tools

What You Have

  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiating skills
  • CRM system management (Salesforce, Dynamics or equivalent)
  • Direct sales experience in a B2B environment, ideally in a software vertical
  • Degree level education preferred but not essential
  • Microsoft Office literate and target driven
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
