Director of Inventory Strategy
As the Director of Inventory Strategy, you’ll be a trusted partner - making an impact by supporting us with sound strategic & financial decision making. Reporting directly to the VP of Inventory, you’ll oversee a team of expert account and relationship managers while helping design the long-term strategy of the Inventory Team to maximize on SeatGeek’s unique industry position.

You will be responsible for the coordination and planning of inventory plans across SeatGeek. You will develop and enhance relationships with our top inventory suppliers, creatively attack the ever-changing industry landscape, and work with partners from across the globe to promote new revenue streams to SeatGeek. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of account managers, enhancing their drive, and capabilities to further deepen the inventory partnerships established today
  • Negotiate inventory agreements with partners and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create profitable deal constructs, value levers, and pricing scenarios for use in contract negotiations
  • Provide Supply expertise around inventory acquisition and operational execution
  • Identify new investment opportunities in coordination with sales team
  • Serve as senior point of contact to C-suite and key decision makers in the industry establishing value for SeatGeek and creating buy in on business building opportunities
  • Develop inventory strategy and pricing for all genres, specifically high demand events
  • Develop global strategy plans; including partnering with international SeatGeek Enterprise client managers to develop regional strategies that increase results

What You Have

  • 5+ years in business leadership roles, ideally with management experience
  • Bachelors degree, ideally with a MBA
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to juggle multiple contracts at once
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year
  • Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, and integrity
  • Experience working with C-suite executives 
  • Analytical, strategic, and detail-oriented
