Born and raised in the South Side of Chicago, rapper Lil Durk began releasing mixtapes during the 2010 drill era under the collective and record label, Only the Family. Following his success, Lil Durk featured on Drake’s single ‘Laugh Now Cry Later,’ which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became Lil Durk’s first top ten charting song.
