‘Inside’ Comedian Amy Schumer Announces Tour

Sure, you’ve seen Inside Amy Schumer on the tube, but why not see comedian Amy Schumer in person? Her brand new tour, entitled the “Amy Schumer’s Back Door Tour,” will kick off with two shows at New York City’s Best Buy Theater on January 24. It continues through Boston, MA; Las Vegas, NV; Atlanta, GA; Tampa, FL; Nashville, TN; Denver, CO; and many, many more (the tour runs a full four months). This is Schumer’s second national tour with Comedy Central. Want to get “inside?” Tickets go on sale Friday, December 6 at 10:00am local time.

A Long Island native, Schumer got her start after she placed fourth on NBC’s reality show Last Comic Standing. Since then, she’s appeared on episodes of Girls, 30 Rock and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Schumer’s eponymous TV show debuted in the spring of 2013, and it is a big hit in the coveted 18-34 age group for Comedy Central. Currently in production for a second season, guest stars on the show this time around include major stars like Paul Giamatti, Parker Poset, Zach Braff, Colin Quinn, Michael Ian Black, Todd Barry, Abby Elliott and many more.
