If you’ve been on our concert pages as of late, you’ve noticed that we’ve been featuring our friends tix4cause. Their incredible company lets your ticket purchase help the charity of your choice at no extra cost to you, or you can donate tickets to charity and receive a tax write-off.

We had the pleasure of connecting with one of their loyal customers, Mike Allen, to talk about his journey with tix4cause. We wanted to learn about the process of purchasing tickets through tix4cause, and why purchasers should check out this exchange when they’re looking for tickets.

How did you hear about tix4cause?

I’ve been using tix4cause for a couple of years now and first found out about it on Facebook. I looked at the website at first and thought it was too good to be true – every transaction benefits a charity at no extra cost to the purchaser. I looked into it, bought tickets, and it turned out to be a great experience. It’s very user friendly from my perspective and the best part is I get to choose what charity to support.

What brings you back to tix4cause?

To sum it up, it’s a win-win-win. The buyer gets a great deal on tickets, even for championship games and gets to help their favorite charity at no extra cost to them. A ticket donor gets a tax write-off. The charity earns money just by people going out and doing what they were going to do anyway. I’ve told all my friends about tix4cause. I’m 25, I go to a lot of concerts and sports events, and this is the first stop I’ve been going to for the past couple years. So far, I haven’t been able to “not find” tickets to any event I want to go to.

What is the process like for a first-time buyer?

The first time I used it I wanted to go to a Bears game and wanted to find the best tickets available. I checked out tix4cause – the homepage is super easy to use, easy to navigate. I searched “Bears,” found the game I was interested in, entered my email and a charity, and the rows/tickets popped up. I purchased the best tickets that I could afford and got to choose which charity I wanted to support. There were 100s of charities I could choose from.  I simply bought tickets, chose the charity, and had the tickets right away. This is the first place you should go to if you’re looking for tickets.

What would you say to a ticket buyer not yet using tix4cause?

I’m always encouraging others to go to tix4cause first for any sports or concert or theater ticket they are looking for – anywhere. They have the tickets, great prices and a charity benefits at no extra cost. It’s a real win for all involved.

Be sure to keep an eye out for Mike Allen’s new company, Mikey’s Jerky, which launches in a couple of weeks. All of the jerky is hand made, grass-fed and all natural. We got to sample some of it and it is incredible! And trust us – we eat a ton of beef jerky in the office.
