The new Tony Award-nominated production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella will be leaving its current home on Broadway this fall to tour the country. The tour–which runs from October 2014 to August 2015–kicks off with a run at the Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI, from October 10 to October 18. After that, the cast will head South, performing throughout Florida and North Carolina, before heading back North to Philadelphia (November 25 to 30) and upstate New York. Following a series of shows at the Cadillac Palace in Chicago that span from Mid-December to early January, the musical will spend a couple weeks in Cincinnati and then travel West through Missouri and Colorado. Highlights on the West Coast include Portland (February 17 to 22), Los Angeles (March 17 to April 26) and San Diego (May 5 to 10). Once done with California, the production will make its way back East via Houston, Des Moines and Cleveland, before a final run at the Peace Center in Greenville, SC, August 4 to 9.

An update of the musical, which originally premiered on TV in 1957 with Julie Andrews, Cinderella tells the classic fairytale with a renewed approach focusing more on the female lead’s point of view, while also mixing classic yet-rarely heard pieces from the Rodgers and Hammerstein catalogue. The current Broadway cast includes Carly Rae Jepsen (of “Call Me Maybe” Fame) and Fran Drescher. No word yet on who will be part of the touring cast.
