Cirque Du Soleil frequently focuses on bodies, showing the many ways that their acrobats can bend, twist and twirl. Zumanity might be the first Cirque show to be so explicit about it, though. The sexy spin on their stageshow dials down the stunts and ratchets up the daring, as the plot follows a series of lovers as they explore in sensual set-pieces.

Zumanity is the perfect middle ground between a sinful Vegas night and an evening at the theater, bringing burlesque and cabaret into the dreamlike, dazzling world of the long-running circus.

The 18-and-up show that the San Francisco Bay Times called a “voyeuristic exploration of hidden passions, sensuality and ultimate seduction” strikes a balance between sexy and stunning, blending scenes of sex and love with dance numbers, acrobatics and partnered trapeze stunts.

Because of its content, Zumanity is recommended for adults only. So, couples on their own or pairs looking for a night away from the kids would be well-suited for the 90-minute show.
