Doug Benson Tour

From appearances on those Vh1 Best Week Evers of yesteryear, to stand up performances, to 2007 comedy/documentary, Super High Me, where he spent 30 days off of marijuana followed by 30 days of continuous use to document the effects, comedian Doug Benson has been making people laugh for a while. Usually, from talking about being high. Sticking with his plan to release a new comedy album each year on April 20 (aka the stoner holiday 4:20), Benson’s newest offering is titled Gateway Doug. The album is set to release on July 9 and pre-orders are already available on his website’s homepage.

Doug Benson’s comedy tour is a mixed bag of performances ranging from live tapings of his popular Doug Loves Movies podcast, The Benson Interruption (where he will actually interrupt movies at specific times to discuss stories and tell jokes), as well as a whole host of performances where he’ll be doing stand up in support of his newest album. The tour, which kicked off on July 1 in New York City, continues next with stops across the US, including San Francisco, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Madison, and Milwaukee to name a few.
