Comedian and musician Fred Armisen has always found a way to combine his two loves. He’s created plenty of fake bands while on Saturday Night Live or writing for his own spoof series Documentary Now! He’s taking that pseudo-show on the road. performing as a few of his favorite acts from among the likes of the Blue Jean Committee, Crisis of Conformity and Test Pattern in a series of new dates.

Armisen’s tour kicks off next week at Oxford’s The Lyric. He winds his way through the south, stopping in Alabama, Knoxville and the Triangle’s Cat’s Cradle before turning north. Back-to-back shows in DC and New York follow before Armisen makes a leap to the West Coast. The comedian will play shows in Vancouver and Seattle before hitting up Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas.

The tour runs back through the South before closing out with sets at Pittsburgh’s Mr. Smalls and Chicago’s Metro. After that, He’ll bring the act out one more time in May for a set at Boston Calling. Take a look at the full run of tour dates below:
