There will be a live band, lots of dancing, and the best food trucks Houston has to offer. Tickets for this event are $25 for nonmembers and $15 for members of the museum. Muggles, get ready! This Saturday morning, come to the House of Blues Houston for the iconic biweekly Drag Diva Brunch. Each event is a new theme, and this week we have Wizards & Waffles! Imagine a morning of mimosas and a drag queen parody of Harry Potter. Doors for this brunch will open at 10:30AM, seating starts at 11AM, and the show begins at noon. We really can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday brunch than with waffles and the drag queen version of Ron Weasley. Grab tickets on SeatGeek!

Screen on the Green @ Discovery Green

Friday, February 21 | 7PM

One of the most romantic dates you could take your partner on is to watch a movie on a huge screen in a field. Help them recreate their hopeless romantic dreams and take them to Discovery Green this Friday night for Screen on the Green. The movie showing for this night will be The Messenger. This movie follows the story of a soldier during the Iraq War who was returned home after an injury, placed to finish his duty in the Army’s Casualty Notification service. This soldier is trying to come to terms with his own issues while facing the reality of war. Admission is free, so it’s really the perfect, cheap, first date idea!

Colony House @ White Oak Music Hall

Friday, February 21 | 7PM

This Friday night, take your partner to see Colony House perform at White Oak Music Hall. Colony House is an indie rock quartet currently on tour around the United States. Their hit single, “Silhouettes,” has over 26 million streams on Spotify. You could add to these streams by making them your new favorite indie band! It’s possible you may even recognize their song, “You Know It” if you listen to indie music at all. Grab tickets on SeatGeek for as low as $30.
