While Irving Berlin is responsible for much of the music we think of as Christmas standards, his film White Christmas has largely fallen out of favor. That’s more due to a wealth of options than the quality of the product, and the folks behind the stage adaptation of the old school holiday classic know that.

That’s why they are giving tons of theatergoers a chance to experience the magic of Berlin’s story again or for the first time.

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas will tour the country starting on November 9 with a one-off show at Bowling Green’s Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center. The tour hangs around the Midwest for the month of November, stopping in Lincoln, Sioux Falls, Des Moines and Cleveland. The tour closes out with three runs at Durham’s Performing Arts Center, Chicago’s Cadillac Palace and Boston’s Boch Center.

“Start with a timeless tale of joy and goodwill, fill it with classic Irving Berlin songs, top it off with glorious dancing and lots of snow,” the production explains on their website. “It’s a must-see classic in a lavish new musical…full of dancing, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written!”
