With the Nascar Sprint Cup Brickyard 400 just over a month away, Nascar fans around the country are starting to get excited for one of the biggest races of the year. The July 30 event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway consists of 160 action-packed laps on the 2.5 mile track.
In light of his recent win in the Pocanos and the success he has had this season, Jeff Gordon seems to be the favorite for this year’s Brickyard. Gordon has won the event 4 times already, including the first ever Brickyard 400 in 1994. He is looking to win his fifth and keep the drive alive for the Sprint Cup title.
Even a month out from the event, secondary market ticket prices for this prestigious Indy motor event are pretty steep. SeatGeek has found prime tickets for as high as $5405. Obviously, general admission and standing tickets for race day are much less, but if you want to watch the festivities in style you’ll have to pay an arm and a leg.
The summer road to this year’s Brickyard 400 continues this Sunday with the Toyota SaveMart 350. Find tickets for the Infineon Raceway event here.
