New York Mets Tickets Still Available
Fresh off a 3-game sweep at Tampa Bay, the New York Mets are looking to close in on the Washington Nationals for first place in the National League East this weekend as they begin a nine game homestand at Citi Field.
Led by third baseman David Wright and knuckleballer R.A. Dickey, whose 10-1 record leads the majors, the eclectic New York team has continued to surprise critics as they sit six games above .500, ahead of the Braves, Phillies, and Marlins.
The Mets have a tough schedule ahead, which should make for some good baseball. Tonight they kick things off against the Cincinnati Reds, a hot team that is also riding a 3-game winning streak into the series. After that, the Orioles and Yankees will make an appearance as interleague play continues on Monday.
