After stepping away from the public eye in 2008, The Starting Line is back from their hiatus for a brief reunion tour this upcoming winter. The Philadelphia, punk-rock band is taking a break from their break, to perform 8 events this December honoring their 2002 album, “Say It Like You Mean It.”

Members, Kenny Vasoli, Matt Watts, Mike Golla, Tom Gryskewicz, and Brian Schmutz have taken personal time away to work on separate projects. Although the band has not formally split up, they plan to take this short tour as time for their fans as well as celebrating their 13 year career.

Matt Watt’s comments on TSL break. As you’ve probably noticed, TSL has become slightly more active, and we even have a few new songs in the works. The main reason behind the break was to take some time and evaluate things, touring for 8+ years got really exhausting and we all needed to take a step away to see if TSL was something that we all still loved and wanted to pursue. After taking a much needed break, we’re all at a point where we truly love and appreciate what we were able to do together, and genuinely miss playing shows, writing, and being around one another.

Say It Like You Mean It will be played in its entirety during each show… check out the song list.
