Tracy Morgan is known for a few things in his career, most notably his run as Hustleman on Martin, his stint on Saturday Night Live or most recently, his run on 30 Rock, in which he played Tracy Jordan, a caricature of himself. He was actually nominated back in 2009 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the Emmy Awards for his work on the show. Morgan has also appeared or voiced characters in over 20 films throughout the course of his career
The 44 year old comic, who hails from the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, will be embarking on a national stand up comedy tour in May and June with 30 Rock now off the air. With the title Excuse My French, you can expect irreverent comedy at its best, similar to that of his HBO special Black and Blue.
The tour kicks off on May 2 in Kansas City at the Uptown Theater and will visit a total of 22 cities, including Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, San Antonio, Austin, Atlanta, Cleveland, Portland, Seattle and Albany. The tour wraps up on June 30 in Charlotte at the Fillmore Charlotte.
