Update: The lineup for the 2019 Astroworld Festival has been revealed! Headliners include Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, Pharrell, Megan Thee Stallion and more. View the full list of performers here.

Travis Scott is doing Astroworld one more time. And just like last year, the Houston-bred rapper is keeping mum about who will play the one-day fest. Outside of Scott himself, the lineup is entirely secret and he waits until the absolute last minute to let fans know who is playing. But based on last year’s lineup we can venture a few guesses as to who will take the stage at Houston’s NRG Stadium.

DaBaby

Scott has a penchant for grabbing hot rapper’s in the middle of a great year to play his curated festival and few rappers are doing better than Charlotte’s DaBaby. He’s released two critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums in 2019 and gobbled up any guest verse that’s been handed to him, frequently outrapping stars on their own songs.

Megan Thee Stallion

This one might be even more likely than DaBaby, as Megan Thee Stallion has been on the same trajectory as her North Carolinian counterpoint. Like Scott, she also hails from Houston. A homecoming show for the progenitor of Hot Girl Summer would bring the whole stadium down.

Drake

Last year had one big time legend of the Young Money Cash Money world in Lil Wayne. Why not bring along his one-time protege (and Scott’s “Sicko Mode” collaborator) for a headlining set? The answer is probably money but still, shoot for the moon.

Post Malone (Again)

Posty headlined last year and he’s still ruling charts. While he’s a Cowboys fan from the DFW area, he’s still a Texas boy and he’s got the hits to overcome any rivalries.

Rico Nasty

Scott’s raucous live sets are legendary. He’s a rapper who loves a good mosh pit. Last year, he filled this role with New York knucklehead Sheck Wes. By bringing along hip-hop’s reigning queen of throwing elbows, Astroworld will definitely set the mood for Scott’s set.

Lil Tjay

The bottom half of last year’s bill featured plenty of upstarts that Scott wanted to associate with himself and his taste. The “FN” rapper has been tearing up the singles charts on the back of several undeniable hits, placing him firmly in the slot that artists like Trippie Redd held down last year.

YBN Cordae

There’s always room for a rapping ass rapper on these type of bills and YBN Cordae fills that slot nicely. What’s especially nice about this “Kung Fu” rapper is he doesn’t let his gift with words get in the way of an incredible, danceable hook.

Blueface

Scott always makes room for the weird at the bottom of the bill and it doesn’t come much stranger than this unlikely off-kilter hitmaker.

Lil Nas X

Counting Lil Nas X out of any festival in 2019 before the lineup is out is a fool’s errand. I don’t think he vibes well with the Scott’s whole aesthetic, but he gets crowds going and has been a reliable fest set throughout the summer.
