Jam band pioneer and improvisational rock god Dave Matthews (and his eponymous band) have finally revealed the lineup for their traditional Labor Day weekend festival—Caravan Festival—held this year August 29 to 31 in George, WA at the Gorge Amphitheatre. Taking the stage will obviously be Dave Matthews Band (for two sets every night, yes, two), Brandi Carlisle, Shovels & Rope, Dumpstaphunk, Moon Taxi, Bombino, Ana Tijoux, JD McPherson, David Ryan Harris, and Betsy Olson. The set-up is the same as previous years, with multiple stages and multiple acts on at any time. The daily schedule will be announced soon. Tickets for reserved seating and pit standing will set you back $75, while lawn tickets are $48.50. Three-day passes for lawn seating are $120. Bring the kiddies, too—children under 10 years old are free on Friday and Sunday. Tickets are on sale now.

Dave Matthews, aka DMB, were formed in Charlottesville, VA in 1993 by founding members Dave Matthews, Stegan Lessard, Carter Beauford, and LeRoi Moore. Known for their lengthy summer tours and improvisational renditions of their songs, they won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group in 1997 for “So Much to Say”. They have sold over 31 million albums in the United States, making them one of the top 100 highest-selling music acts of all-time.
