The annual Day of the Dead Festival, put on by HARD Events, has a lineup for its 2014 showing. This year’s addition will be held at The Fairplex in Pomona, CA (just outside of Los Angeles) on Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2. So who’s playing? Headlining Saturday’s show will be Knife Party, Diplo, and Pretty Lights, and Deadmau5 vs. Eric Prydz, among others, and Sunday boasts sets by Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, Zedd, Claude Van Stroke, Big Gigantic, and more. Day of the Dead isn’t HARD’s only festival—in fact, there are many, including HARD Musical Festival, HARD Summer Music Festival, HARD Haunted Mansion, Turkey Soup, and the Holy Ship! Cruise. The first festival was founded by American music executive, promoter, and DJ Gary Richards. It took place in Downtown Los Angeles and featured Peaches, 2 Live Crew, and Justice as its acts. Today, HARD festivals have expanded to a variety of countries, including Australia, Sweden, and England.
