Hard Rock Calling Draws The Boss Once Again
Hard Rock Calling
Bruce Springsteen and his friends in The E Street Band are coming back to London to headline the 2013 edition of the Hard Rock Calling festival despite having the plug pulled on them last year. If you remember, at last year’s event the city pulled the plug on both The Boss and Paul McCartney while they were on stage, due to the city’s curfew ordinance. With that seeming to be water on the bridge now, the rock legend will play the event, set for June 29 and June 30 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Last year, the festival featured Springsteen, Soundgarden, Paul Simon, Iggy and The Stooges, Lady Antebellum and John Fogerty among many, many bands and artists that took the stage at Hyde Park in London.
The rest of this year’s lineup features other notable acts such as Alabama Shakes, Kasabian, The Black Crowes and Paul Weller. Kasabian will headline the bill on June 29 while Springsteen will headline on June 30.
Tickets for Hard Rock Calling went on sale to the general public this past Friday, March 8.
