Jam Cruise is a great way to jam music fans to get together, savor that sunshine, and listen to some of their favorite bands play their favorite tunes, so wouldn’t they want it to be longer than a short Caribbean cruise? Well, cruisers and landlubbers alike are in luck—Jam Cruise has partnered with SweetWater Brewing Company for their inaugural pre-cruise tour! Dubbed “The Road to Jam Cruise”, the tour will kick off on August 29 in Tampa, FL before heading to Atlanta, GA (at Terminal West); Charlottesville, VA (at the Southern); Charleston, SC; and Jacksonville, FL. Acts include Umphrey’s McGee, The Revivalists, Fruition, and Nth Power, depending on the date near you. Can’t make it to the tour? Jam Cruise will set sail from Jamuary 6 to 11, 2015, with performances by Pretty Lights, Umphrey’s McGee, G. Love and Special Sauce, Snarky Puppy, and many, many more. Now in its 13th iteration, the very first Jam Cruise was held January 6-10, 2004, making stops in Nassau, Bahamas and Key West, FL. Acts included the Disco Biscuits, Jerry Joseph, Umphrey’s McGee, and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
