The annual hilarity that is the New York Comedy Festival has just revealed who will be taking the stage for its fall lineup. The festival–which runs from November 5 to November 8 and takes over a variety of venues around Manhattan–will kick off its headlining events with Tig Notaro performing her show “Boyish Girl Interrupted” on November 6 at Town Hall. Other notable shows include Bill Cosby at Carnegie Hall on November 8, Hannibal Burress at Town Hall on November 7, Marc Maron at NYU’s Skirball Center on November 7, Bill Maher at the Beacon Theatre on November 8, and Maria Bamford at Town Hall on November 8. Additional events and performance on the festival’s first and last days will be announced later.

Sponsored by Comedy Central, Caroline’s comedy club, Citibank and more, the New York Comedy Festival is now its eleventh year. Over the years, it’s become one of the most anticipated and well-known comedy events in America.
