In New York City, you can’t get anything for free (even the pigeons charge to poop on you), so it will come as a surprise to many that you can get a weekend of awesome live shows in NYC for, um, no cost to you. That’s right—keep the bills in your wallet for this one, folks. Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz and music blogger Ryan Spaulding have teamed up to put together their Outlaw Roadshow, now in its fifth year, at the Bowery Electric. Running from October 23 to 25, acts scheduled to play this free fest include Hallelujah The Hills, Tigerman WOAH, Filligar, Lily & the Parlour Tricks, Mean Creek, Christian MacNeil & Seamonsters, Hollis Brown, Tallahassee, Boom Forest, and more to come! For more information on how you can reserve your seat and about other artist announcements, visit Outlaw Roadshow’s website.

Outlaw Roadshow is truly a labor of love, and its producers like to give back to the fans that attend. Executive producer Ryan Spaulding noted, “With the Outlaw, surprises and fun are the order of the day. One of the things I like best about working with Adam and our sponsors is that they are courageous partners of emerging music and expression. With the Outlaw Roadshow, everyone’s heart is in the right place.”
