Straight No Chaser, or SNC, originated in 1996 at Indiana University. In 2006, the group went viral for a rendition of “The 12 Days of Christmas” that they had recorded nearly 10 years prior. The sudden exposure led to a record deal with Atlantic Records, widespread popularity, and nearly 15 million YouTube video views. They’re currently recording their fourth studio album, slated for release early next year. For now, check out their most recent LP, With a Twist, which came out in 2010.
