Summerland Summon The ’90s For Seasonal Series

We haven’t tired of reporting ’90s-nostalgia news yet, and by the looks of it, fans haven’t tired of reading about (or buying tickets to!) the latest redux performances, either. The latest: Everclear have decided to spearhead their second consecutive Summerland Tour, a national concert trek that features rock bands who enjoyed maximum success during the era of “Daria,” the scrunchie, and tamagotchis, otherwise known as the 1990s. Live, Filter and Sponge will join the Everclear ensemble for the duration of the 32-date series, which kicks off May 29 in Ft. Meyers, FL, and will last through the end of July.

Art Alexis, lead singer of Everclear and the mastermind behind the Summerland event, recently said last year’s tour was “a blast,” but that “this year we’ve brought a decidedly edgier flavor bill to satisfy all of the fans of ’90s rock and roll out there. It’s going to be an amazing summer night every night on Summerland 2013 Alternative Guitars.”
