Are you ready to get spooky, New Orleans? The annual Voodoo Music + Arts Experience (aka Voodoo Fest) has just revealed its lineup, and boy, is it awesome. Taking place October 31 to November 2 at City Park, the headliners for the festival are Foo Fighters, OutKast, Arctic Monkeys, and Skrillex. Other notable acts? Death From Above 1979, Slayer, Pretty Lights, Zedd, 30 Seconds to Mars, Rise Against, and AWOLNATION, plus a ton more. Wanna go? Three-day passes for the festival start at $130 and go up from there—VIP and Super VIP (in which I imagine you are carried on a Cleopatra-style bed from stage to stage) are also available. Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday, June 27 at 11:00am. For more information, visit the festival’s website.

In business for over 15 years, the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience has hosted over 2000 musical artists of all genres since its inception. Why is it so great? Voodoo Fest blends high-profile artists with local Louisiana musicians, giving fans that real New Orleans experience. In 2005, a special invitation-only Voodoo Fest was held for Hurricane Katrina relief workers was held at Riverview Park, marking the first major musical performance after the storm.
