With the recent unveiling of Bonnaroo’s impressive lineup, dedicated festival-goers are starting to plan their weekend at the iconic event. Figuring out where to stay over the course of the festival can seem overwhelming at first. Is camping the way to go? What about that sweet Airbnb in the heart of the South? Or maybe booking a room at a nearby hotel is more your speed.

Here at TBA, we’ve compiled a list of all of the best options for where to stay while attending Bonnaroo.

Airbnb

Airbnb is a tried and true method for ensuring you and your festival crew stay close to the event while staying in some extraordinary rental spaces. Whether you’re on a budget or planning on going all out for your Bonnaroo getaway, Airbnb has a variety of options that can easily accommodate any size party. This charming country cabin that can accommodate up to six people has views of the Tims Ford Lake that it’s conveniently nestled upon, while this properly nicknamed country retreat is super close to the festival grounds and hosts two people comfortably. You can explore endless additional options here, but don’t wait too long to book! Airbnb’s rise in popularity in recent years means festival-centric locales get reserved quickly.

Hotels

While Bonnaroo takes place at Great Stage Park upon a 700-acre farm, tons of hotels are just a hop skip and a jump away from the festival grounds. A huge perk of staying at a nearby hotel is the amount of transportation options. In fact, hotels like this Holiday Inn are less than a mile away from the festival grounds. If you’re looking for a more upscale stay with a surefire way to get yourself to and from Coachella, staying at one of the nearby hotels is an ideal lodging choice.

VRBO

Vacation Rentals By Owner, or better known by its acronym VRBO, is a hidden gem as far as lodging for Bonnaroo goes. While slightly similar to Airbnb, VRBO allows travelers to choose from a variety of vacation rental-style spaces for a short period of time, making it a perfect lodging option for the festival weekends. With various rentals within two miles of the festival grounds, VRBO has every style of accommodations available, from hip cabins to beautiful Victorian homes.

Camping

Bonnaroo also offers attendees the option to camp on the festival grounds. Festival goers can buy camping packages in advance to secure a spot to pitch their tent for the weekend. For more information, check out our extensive guide on everything you need to know about camping at Bonnaroo.
