XPoNential Music Festival Taking New Jersey by Storm in 2013
For the 20th year in a row, Camden, NJ, will host the XpoNential Music Festival presented by WXPN. In the past, the three-day festy has shown the East Coast some of the best in modern indie, alternative, folk, and singer-songwriter music, plus some of the best local talent the area has to offer. Last year, huge names like Wilco, Avett Brothers and The Hold Steady made an appearance, and at around $55 a ticket this is truly a bargain. WXPN radio (Upenn’s public radio station) teamed up with Subaru to present a weekend filled with more than 30 artists on four stages in 2012, and 2013 is rumored to be even bigger than before.
Besides music, the festy will also feature a variety of other things such as a Kids Corner Garden – which includes family-friendly activities, exhibits and amusement rides, gardens and nature walks. And of course, the usual food and drink vendors plus festival merch and craft stands will be made available for patrons. Last year, Xponential was held at two locations: Susquehanna Bank Center and Wiggins Park, a venue selected by the radio station for its spectacular waterfront views, lush open green spaces and array of local attractions. Don’t miss this scenic, affordable and talent-chocked festival when it comes back around!
