CMA Tickets, While Less Expensive, Still Pricey
This evening marks one of the biggest nights in country, with the 49th annual CMA Awards taking place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. Hosted by Chris Paisley and Carrie Underwood, one can always expect secondary ticket prices to cost a pretty penny.
This year’s event is no different, with the secondary resale price averaging $408. No other event at Bridgestone Arena has a higher average resale price this year, with the awards show topping performances by Taylor Swift, Fleetwood Mac and Maroon 5. But, while expensive, the ticket is still $100 cheaper than last year’s, which averaged at $535.
Average Resale Price of Past 5 CMAs

The CMA Awards are typically one of the hottest tickets of the year in the Nashville area, and this year’s event is no different. No other event at Bridgestone Arena has a higher average resale price this year, with the awards show topping performances by Taylor Swift, Fleetwood Mac and Maroon 5.
Tickets to the CMAs
It seems as though the show will have a relatively local audience, as 56 percent of those looking for tickets on our site live in Tennessee. This makes sense, as the show being on a Wednesday night makes it a tougher trip for a tourist to make.
Interestingly the CMA Awards are slightly cheaper than the Academy of Country Music Awards that happened back in April at AT&T Stadium in Texas. That show had an average resale price of $459, which is especially impressive considering the size of that venue relative to Bridgestone Arena.
