Alanis Morissette’s ‘Jagged Little Pill’ to be Rereleased
For children born in the late ’80s, Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill was likely one of their first, and most cherished, cassette tapes. It was Morissette’s third studio release, and the one that rocketed her to musical fame back in 1995. Now, 20 years later, and the album will celebrate a milestone anniversary.
To honor the occasion, Rhino Records is releasing a collector’s edition of the album. It will be four discs, including a 1995 unreleased concert, unreleased demos, and an acoustic recording of the album. The deluxe album will be limited to 30,000 copies only, making it a true collector’s item.
With the album now resurfacing, the natural next question is whether Alanis will be heading out on tour to promote it. She’s certainly no stranger to the road, having performed a series of “Intimate and Acoustic” concerts last year. In any event, we’ll have to wait to find out, as the Jagged Little Pill rerelease isn’t due out until October 30. Stay tuned to TBA for more details as they unfold!
