Alice Cooper Announces Small String of Shows this Summer
Alice Cooper Tour
First Aerosmith, then Motley Crue, and now Alice Cooper. It seems 2013 is the year of comebacks for the legendary rock n’ roll bands of the 70s and 80s, and I ain’t mad at it. Mr. Cooper has announced a small string of gigs in July, with the first taking place on July 10 in Fort Wayne, IN, at the Embassy Theatre. Cooper will also perform at the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, IN, the following day, as well as a gig in Minneapolis at the State Theatre on July 14. The five-date stint wraps up on July 18 at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. No words on any additional dates yet, but let’s keep our fingers crossed.
Presale tickets for the event are on-sale now, and general public tickets will be available March 1. Fans may have gotten a chance to see Alice Cooper when he toured with Iron Maiden on the “Maiden England World Tour” last summer, or, if they saw the movie “Dark Shadows,” in which he starred with Johnny Depp. Check out a video of him performing the classic “School’s Out” live.
