AlunaGeorge Tour

As one of the hottest new electronic groups in Europe, and as a duo with their debut album set for release this summer, a 2013 AlunaGeorge tour announcement seemed inevitable. While their appearance at this summer’s Made in America Festival has been on the books for some time, a full slate of AlunaGeorge live shows is now available for their fans to peruse and plan. Most of the announced concerts are part of large European festivals, including always-notable Glastonbury, but fans in the US will be happy to know that two New York City concerts are included in their plans, as well.

Known for Aluna’s unique voice and George’s combination of garage and dubstep sounds, AlunaGeorge’s two years on the UK electronic scene have included the hits “White Noise” with Disclosure and 2012’s “After Light” with Rustie. Now their first feature album, Body Music, is on its way in July and led by the UK top-20 single “Attracting Flies.” One particularly interesting tour stop is in Switzerland, supporting hot new rapper Kendrick Lamar. Could a collaboration between the two be in our future? Updated Concert Dates

Since announcing their European tour last week, including three AlunaGeorge US concerts to conclude schedule, the band has now released their official and first-ever list of North American concert dates. The first AlunaGeorge US tour stop will now be at the North Coast Music Festival in Chicago before the Made in America fest in Philadelphia. They also added a few more European dates in August and in October.
