Anberlin Adds Shows to Final Tour Schedule
After six albums and twelve years on stage, alternative rock band Anberlin is calling it quits. They’re releasing a final album, Lowborn, on July 22 via Tooth and Nail Records (who released their debut in 2003), and they’re setting off on one last jaunt around the world, both solo and as a part of the Vans Warped Tour. Their official farewell shows in the United States will start on October 7 at the House of Blues in San Diego, and then continue though San Francisco, CA; Dallas, TX; Boston, MA; Houston, TX; Philadelphia, PA; New York, NY; and more. Don’t see your city on the list? Don’t worry—Anberlin has said they’ll add tour dates to their schedule. It is, after all, their last time around the block, so they have to try to make it to everyone. Tickets for the Vans Warped Tour are on sale now; for information about Anberlin’s final tour, visit their website.
Comprised of Stephen Christian, Joseph Milligan, Deon Rexroat, Nathan Young, and Christian McAlhaney, Anberlin came up in the alternative rock/pop-punk renaissance of the early 2000s alongside bands like Fall Out Boy and Yellowcard. A darling of the Vans Warped Tour circuit, Anberlin has sold over a million records in the United States alone. Their last album, Vital, was released in 2012.
