All-American rock band Anberlin recently announced several new tour dates, which they’ve scheduled for this coming June-July. For their latest round of shows, the boys from Florida have decided to take their sound in a new direction, choosing to step away from the amps in favor of acoustic sets. As the band doesn’t have a new album to promote – their last record, Vital, dropped back in 2012 – you can expect Anberlin’s stripped-down concerts to cover a whole range of material, potentially dating back to their earliest releases.
The subdued fun is slated to kick off on June 21, with a performance in Jacksonville, FL, at Freebird. Anberlin have booked almost daily gigs from there on out, making plans to hit up various cities in the far west and southern portions of the country – Dallas, Vegas, Tucson, Chicago, Atlanta, etc. – through July 13. For support on the road, Stars in Stereo and Campfire Ok have signed up to open on all dates. Tickets to just about every summer Anberlin show are on sale now: See discount deals below!
