Indie rockers North Mississippi Allstars and Anders Osborne are joining forces and hitting the road for a project they’re dubbing N.M.O. The acronym awesomeness will kick off on February 19 at Ponte Verda Concert Hall in Ponte Verda, FL. They’ll then head North to shows in Virginia, Boston, upstate New York and Pennsylvania. After their Northeast run, the guys will head on through to the Midwest, playing the Intersection in Grand Rapids on March 5 followed by a show the next day at Chicago’s Thalia Hall. They’ll then make their way South, playing through Baton Rouge and Texas, and push onto California, playing the Troubadour in Los Angeles on April 1 and heading up to play San Francisco and Napa. After a show in Nevada, N.M.O. will play take the stage in Salt Lake City, Aspen and Denver. They’ll close out the tour with a show at Knuckleheads in Kansas City on April 11.

Formed in the mid ‘90s and hailing from Hernando, Mississippi, North Mississippi Allstars is comprised of Luther Dickinson, Cody Dickinson and Chris Chew. The band is known for its mix of Southern rock and blues with jam band dedication to touring. Anders Osborne, meanwhile, is a New Orleans-based singer/songwriter who has been releasing music since 1989.
